Our story

We are Kimberley and Nathan, and SOEL grew out of a genuine love for the outdoors — and a frustration with how hard it was to find reliable, knowledgeable servicing for caravans and motorhomes.

What started in December 2024 with a single caravan hire operation quickly showed us where the real gap was. Vehicle owners — whether driving a family car, towing a caravan, or living out of a motorhome — needed a workshop that actually understood their needs.

So we set one up. Our Rolleston service centre is now the cornerstone of SOEL — handling everything from routine car servicing, WoF inspections and mechanical repairs to specialist caravan habitation checks, gas certification, insurance repairs and off-grid upgrades.

The hire fleet has grown alongside it, with premium off-road capable caravans available for South Island adventures. Every vehicle in our fleet is maintained and serviced by our own technicians — the same team that works on customer vehicles. You know exactly what standard it's been kept to.

Our parts and accessories range gives customers access to the gear that gets used hardest — towing kit, 12V systems, outdoor living essentials — with workshop fitting available.

Our workshop covers all vehicle types — cars, utes, 4×4s, caravans, campervans and motorhomes. All makes and models, with the specialist knowledge to back it up.

SOEL is growing, but we want it to stay personal. You'll talk to someone who knows your vehicle, not a call centre — and we'll do the job right the first time.
